Leisure Learning: Fruit & Nut Tree Pruning 101

Hocking College Adjunct Faculty Instructor & Owner of Solid Ground Farm, Weston Lombard, will lead this hands-on course for pruning fruit & nut trees. The class will cover pruning strategies for trees of all ages and sizes, the timing of cutting, and preferred tree forms for various species, tool use and maintenance, and other aspects of tree care.

Cost is $25 and includes lopper and hand pruner tool sharpening.

Participants can choose from one of the two class options listed below. Those interested in participating can register here.
