A partnership between the Department of Students Rights, responsibilities & Judicial Affairs and the Center for Advocacy, Resolution & Equity has resulted in the forming of a team to help resolve disputes dealing with diversity.  "Diversity Without Division" is the name given to the initiative founded to establish campus diversity and mediation as well as to form a resolution team.  George Petrovay will oversee the team's effort with assistance from students Damien Schmersal and Bryon Pegues.

According to George, "We will initially focus on racial issues, eventually branching out into all areas of diversity.  'Diversity Without Division' will give students and opportunity to mediate, or cooperatively resolve, personal or racial tensions, Student Code of Conduct disputes and other issues associated with other diverse student/community groups."
