More than 200 high school students and advisors from throughout Ohio were on campus Saturday for the state Future Farmers of America forestry skills competition.  This event has been held at Hocking College for at least two decades and is coordinated by Bob Sabo, associate professor of forestry.  Students took part in about nine forestry related activities including tree identification, dendrology, and timber cruising.  Also involved in the day’s activities were:  Robert Scott Placier, Jim Downs, Amy Roe, Jim and Carol Ogden and Sonja Hill-Puckett.
